We’re delighted to host this event, as a way of saying thank you to our clients for the trust they place in us.
Guests have the chance to meet the wider Citywide team, spend time with fellow clients and hear from our founder and CEO, Clinton Askew, before a keynote from our guest speaker, speaker Claudia Hammond, award-winning broadcaster and presenter of BBC Radio 4’s All in the Mind.
What to Expect
- The evening will begin with drinks, canapés and seasonal bowl food, giving you plenty of time to relax, catch up and enjoy conversation with fellow clients and the Citywide team.
- We’ll then move into the theatre for reflections from Clinton Askew before hearing from our guest speaker, Claudia Hammond.
- Following the keynote, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion before we return to the reception area for further conversation.
Mind over Money: Keynote with Claudia Hammond
Many of the conversations we have with clients touch on life’s biggest decisions, what matters most to us and the role money plays in helping us live the lives we want.
That’s why we’re delighted to welcome Claudia Hammond. Claudia is an award-winning BBC Radio 4 broadcaster, psychologist and author, known for her work exploring happiness, decision-making and human behaviour.
Through her keynote, Mind over Money, Claudia will explore questions such as:
- Can money really buy happiness?
- Why don’t we always think rationally when it comes to financial decisions?
Claudia’s work examines the relationship between money, behaviour and wellbeing, offering a fascinating perspective on how we think. Whether the subject is money, happiness, risk or decision-making, we hope you’ll leave with plenty to think about.

Citywide Reflections and Outlook
Founder and CEO Clinton Askew will share his perspective on the opportunities, challenges and trends shaping the financial landscape today, together with Citywide’s outlook for the months ahead. While nobody can predict the future, we can prepare thoughtfully and learn from lessons from what history tells us.
As founder of the business, Clinton will also reflect on Citywide’s journey, the relationships we’ve built with clients and what continues to matter most as we look to the future.
